UH Data Science Institute Receives $10 Million Boost From Hewlett Packard Enterprise

The University of Houston has formed a strategic alliance with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to advance data science research. In recognition of this partnership and HPE’s $10 million gift, the UH Data Science Institute has been renamed the Hewlett Packard Data Science Institute.

This momentous collaboration will go beyond funding, with HPE leaders serving as lecturers for UH classes and researchers, helping solve complex problems for HPE customers. Students will work on research areas suggested by HPE, which will ensure students and faculty are focused on the real-world challenges facing society today.
